LJP has released its Speaker Beeper, a handheld, battery-powered speaker and cable tester (passive, 2-, 3- and 4-way). When testing speakers, the Speaker Beeper provides an 800 Hz sine wave tone at 1 watt to each individual component within a single enclosure. The 800 Hz tone is sequenced automatically through the Speaker Beeper's NL4 and NL8 connectors.

The Speaker Beeper has a switchable, internal speaker that is wired in series to monitor component testing when the speaker enclosure is sitting in its dolly or out of hearing range. The unit comes with a cable remote module that is used to check for proper wiring of NL4 and NL8 cables up to 1,000 feet.
